1. Purpose

This Acceptable Usage Policy (“AUP”) sets out the activities that are prohibited on NexioHost infrastructure. It protects our network, our customers, and third parties. By using our services you agree to comply with this policy, which supplements our Terms of Service.

2. Prohibited Content & Activities

Hosting, storing, transmitting, or facilitating any of the following will result in immediate suspension and may be reported to the appropriate authorities.
You may not use NexioHost services to host, store, transmit, or facilitate:
  • Any illegal content or activity under applicable law
  • Malware, viruses, ransomware, botnets, or command-and-control infrastructure
  • Phishing, fraud, identity theft, or deceptive impersonation
  • Child sexual abuse material or any content that exploits minors
  • Content that infringes intellectual property or trade-secret rights
  • Spam, unsolicited bulk messaging, or mass-mailing operations
  • Harassment, threats, doxxing, or incitement of violence

3. Network Abuse

Attack Traffic

Launching or participating in DDoS attacks, denial-of-service activity, or any traffic intended to disrupt systems you do not own.

Scanning & Intrusion

Port scanning, vulnerability scanning, or intrusion attempts against systems outside your own infrastructure.

Spoofing & Forgery

IP or email spoofing, forging packet headers, or operating open proxies and relays used for abuse.

Service Disruption

Any activity that disrupts or degrades service quality for other NexioHost customers on shared infrastructure.

4. Resource Abuse

The following are prohibited across all plans:
  • Cryptocurrency mining or unrelated resource-intensive background workloads
  • Deliberately circumventing plan resource limits
  • Running processes that destabilize shared nodes
Fair-share resource expectations are detailed in our Fair Usage Policy. If your service consistently exceeds allocated resources, we may contact you to upgrade or optimize.

5. Discord & Bot-Specific Rules

Platform Compliance Required

Bots hosted with us must comply with the Discord (or relevant platform) Terms of Service and Developer Policy. The following are strictly prohibited:
  • Self-botting or automating user accounts
  • Mass-DM spam or unsolicited messaging
  • Token farming or credential harvesting
  • Raid tooling or coordinated server attacks
  • API abuse or rate-limit circumvention
Violations may result in immediate suspension without prior warning.

If you’ve identified abuse on our network, please report it with as much detail as possible — including relevant IPs, domains, and timestamps.

We may revise this policy at any time. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
