Last updated: July 2026 — This policy supplements our Terms of Service and Acceptable Usage Policy.
1. Why We Have This Policy
Many of our plans run on shared, high-performance nodes. To guarantee consistent speed and reliability for every customer, we ask that resource usage stays within the fair-share expectations described below. The Short Version
Use the resources your plan provides for your own workload — just don’t abuse shared capacity in a way that degrades other customers’ services.
2. CPU & Memory
- Each plan includes a defined CPU and RAM allocation; sustained usage should stay within it
- Short bursts above your baseline are fine — sustained maxing of shared cores is not
- Workloads that repeatedly destabilize a node may be throttled or asked to upgrade
Occasional spikes are expected and handled gracefully. It’s sustained, continuous overuse that affects your neighbours.
3. Storage
- Disk space is for your application, its data, and reasonable backups
- Using storage as a general file-dump, public download mirror, or backup target for unrelated systems is not permitted
- Excessive disk I/O that impacts neighbours may be rate-limited
4. Bandwidth & Network
- Plans include generous bandwidth for normal bot, database, and application traffic
- Operating high-volume file distribution, streaming relays, or proxy/VPN exit services is not covered by standard plans
- Traffic patterns resembling abuse or attacks may be mitigated automatically
5. What Happens If Usage Is Excessive
We prefer to work with you first. If your service consistently exceeds fair-share limits, here’s what to expect:1
Notification
We’ll reach out to explain what we’re seeing and give you a chance to address it.
2
Optimization Guidance
We’ll suggest ways to optimize your workload or recommend an appropriate plan upgrade.
3
Temporary Throttle
If the service is actively harming other customers, we may throttle it while we work with you on a solution.
4
Suspension
Suspension is a last resort — or immediate in cases of clear, intentional abuse.
6. Dedicated Resources
Need More Power?
If your workload genuinely needs sustained high resource usage, we offer plans with dedicated CPU, memory, and bandwidth — no fair-share limits apply.Reach out and we’ll help you find the right fit for your needs.
